I am fine with that as long as we do as we discussed an have a designated amount that must be raised. The NY walk tends to have higher fund raisers.
I like the iPAD…I think that is a great incentive.
Amouts raised
Top Prize: Must be over $1000
Second Prize: (depending on what it is) $750
Third Prize: (again as above) $500
Thoughts on the second and third: iPOD shuffle for third or iPOD nano for 2-3. Lou mentioned something about a signed Rangers jersey/hockey stick?
I think that is too much to spend on a prize personally. Especially if you are talking about three prizes. That is close to $1000 in prizes alone.
Unless you can get these items donated of course.
I think we should spend no more than 1/2 the value of the item, or as Erin said see if we can get it donated. How much did NY Walk generate last year for sponsors? Out sponsorship was down the last 2 events..not sure we can pull off such a big prize!!
